Located two miles east of downtown, Historic Inman Park is Atlanta’s first planned community and one of the nation’s first garden suburbs. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Inman Park was conceived and developed in the 1880s by Joel Hurt who insisted on large lots, curving streets and open park areas throughout the neighborhood. These properties are moments from the Atlanta Beltline East Side Trail, the Freedom Path, the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, and Little5Points. They are a short 10 minute bike ride to Piedmont Park via the Beltline.
